Since 1978, three to four hour programs, with various titles: “A Musical Offering” “Music for a Viol,” “Baroque Tonics,” “Pizzicato.” Shows feature composers from earliest times to almost yesterday. Frequent focus on viola da gamba, chamber music, piano, vocal, choral music, baroque, renaissance, medieval, classical and contemporary eras, not excluding many other choices. During women’s history month of March, and throughout the year, programs spotlight women composers. Weekly playlists available online since 2001 at musicandwords.net, for 1987-89 in the KUSP Review, and for 1985-87 in Prelude, the monthly magazine of classical music and the arts for the Monterey Bay Area.
